Children in Need 2022

On Friday 18th November, we will be raising money for Children in Need 2022. We have decided to do away with our uniforms for the day and we would love everyone to to dress up in this year’s theme ‘Spotacular’ or something brightly coloured and pay a £1 donation for the privilege! Merchandise will also be on sale from Friday 4th November, including ears, pin badges and wristbands, all ranging from £1 to £2.50. Thank you.

Numicon Advocate School Status

"Numicon has become integral to how we teach Mathematics throughout Yarborough Academy, right from the Early Years all the way into Year 6". We are delighted to have been appointed as a Numicon Advocate School as a result of demonstrating good teaching and learning of the Numicon approach in 2016/17.

World Book Day

Don't forget! In celebration of World Book Day, the children are invited to wear fancy dress to school. This can be a character from their favorite book, or perhaps a costume related to their class project! World Book Day celebrates the joy and value of books and reading, especially for children.
