The rule of law

The language of choice and consequence underpins our behaviour policy throughout the Academy.

Through visitor assemblies, those led by Senior leaders, and our PHSE curriculum, children experience age appropriate understanding of the law and the consequences of ‘breaking’ it. Regular visits by PSCOs, fire service, Health and other professionals reinforce the responsibilities required of children as they grow up. The rule of law is also taught about the place of rules and laws in wider society, that they govern and protect us but that this brings with it responsibilities and consequences when rules are broken.
