How our ethos promotes British Values

The Department for Education has recently reinforced the need for all schools and Academies ”to create a clear and rigorous expectation … to promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.”

These values are taught at Yarborough Academy through our curriculum, through the secrets of success, and with themed assemblies led by the Leadership team and visitors.
